Creative Lead
General Crew (Production & Post-Production Volunteers)
ABOUT THE CAUSE
North East Trees is an environmental non-profit that makes Los Angeles greener and greater. They hire and train young adults from under-served areas to help design and build parks, plant street trees, educate the public, and work with native plants at their nursery. Their mission is to increase the urban canopy, battle thermal inequity, and launch sustainable "green" careers.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We want to introduce Angelenos to our org, the importance of the work we do, and the vibrant volunteer opportunities we offer throughout the city. A 3-4 minute video shot primarily at one of our community action events (the first Saturday of every month) could show the dramatic impact our work has on our employees' lives, on the land, and on the community as a whole. Everything we do is a growth opportunity.
DEADLINE IS FLEXIBLE
We are looking for a video within the next 3-4 months.

We already have a talented and passionate team of Creative Leads assembled, and would love to work with anyone in the entertainment industry who is interested in contributing a specific skillset toward the telling of North East Tree’s story!

PLEASE NOTE:
We understand that all of our volunteers are working professionals and will be donating their free time.
This project will most likely be filmed in Los Angeles, where North East Trees located, but remote work is welcome where possible. Particularly in post-production.
