North East Trees is an environmental non-profit that makes Los Angeles greener and greater. They hire and train young adults from under-served areas to help design (lose use) and build parks, plant street trees, educate the public, and work with native plants at their nursery. Their mission is to increase the urban canopy, battle thermal inequity, and launch sustainable "green" careers.
