Angels in Motion

Angels in Motion started with one woman’s efforts to rescue her child from the disease of addiction. While searching the streets of Kensington (a neighborhood in Philadelphia), for her son, Carol Rostucher saw that many other children and loved ones were suffering and lost as well. She began to open her heart to the streets and spread her love where it was needed the most. AIM’s services are designed to meet the needs of individuals not judge them. AIM is trying to prevent barriers and assure easy accessibility to medical care and social services. All programs provide sensitive, non-judgmental services to meet individual’s needs. Services are all mobile, we travel to individuals. They meet people where they are, literally.

THE PRODUCTION STORY

At Crews for a Cause we knew the Covid Pandemic was going to make the work of organizations working with underserved communities even harder. When Carol reached out to us and told us about Angels In Motion we knew we wanted to help her spread the word. We brought together volunteers from all over the country to help share AIM’s story. As Covid made it difficult to travel and putt crews together we took the approach of using only Skype interviews and existing cellphone footage to tell their story.
